Skill Project 

….Sharing Knowledge, Innovation, Learning and Leadership. 
The Skill project is a new Social Economy project offering a variety of informative programmes aimed at helping new or small businesses to develop by showcasing the achievements of East Belfast Mission. 
Skill aims to support other groups locally, nationally and internationally, in their ambition to engage or develop their community organisation. Skill provides a Centre of Excellence that provides leadership training, shares best practise and provides support across a range of areas for voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises across UK and Europe. 
What does Skill offer? 
Two hour tour of Skainos: 
Two hour tour of the Skainos builidng, a chance to meet people and find out more about the work of East Belfast Mission 
Half day Master Classes currently offered include: 
Starting and Developing a Social Enterprise 
Team Building and Volunteer Management 
Marketing on a Budget 
Financial Management for Social Enterprises 
How to Engage with the Community 
Procurement need not be a Foreign Language 
Getting a building Idea off the ground and Making it a success 
Providing Services for the Homeless and those at risk 
One day target visit: 
Choose two from the list of Master Classes and enjoy other inspirational speakers 
Two day intensive: 
Choose three from the list of Master Classes, listen to inspirational speakers, participate in workshops and enjoy a visit to other successful social economy projects 
Bespoke Packages: 
Enjoy the benefit of all of the above tailored to the needs of your organisation 
Consultancy Service: 
A wide range of consultancy services are available on topics you request
